Welcome to St. George’s United Methodist Church and to “Refreshing Summer Sundays”! We invite you to join us for worship at 9:30 a.m. beginning Sunday, June 19th through Labor Day. Our summer choir meets each week to rehearse at 8:45 a.m. (in the sanctuary) and all who would like to sing are invited to help lead worship through music. We enjoy fellowship following worship and offer Summer Sunday school for all ages at 11:00.

Whether you are looking for a new church home, or just passing through Fairfax, we would love to have you join us. We are a community of all ages and backgrounds that joins together for regular worship, learning, service and fellowship. Our worship includes a celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. Each worship includes a time for the children, lessons from the Bible, time for prayer and uplifting music. Our sermon series for the summer “Witnesses” will include learning from some of the lesser known Bible characters, folk a lot like you and me, used by God to make a difference in their world.
