St Georges United Methodist Church of Fairfax, VA is seeking a dedicated Christian who will oversee all aspects of our church music programs. Duties to include selection, direction and preparation of music for adult Chancel and Bell Choirs as well as oversight of children and youth choirs and volunteer directors. Past experience directing vocal groups is required. Organ and piano skills are highly desirable. Must be available for evening rehearsals as well as 2 Sunday morning services. It is anticipated that this salaried position will require 20-28 hrs/wk. Additional time may be required during special church activities and events with lighter summer hours.
