August Cooking Club Features Cool Dishes

 

If you were one of the 25 people attending the August Cooking Club, you were able to keep your kitchen cool as you prepared your dish.  Hosted by Everett

Hopson this month, he selected only "cool dishes" to comprise the menu.  There was everything from great salads to cool soups to chilled shrimp to cold chicken to a wonderful frozen dessert. It was a nice time for food and fellowship.

 

The Cooking Club meets the first Friday of each month with a different host volunteering and selecting the menu theme. All church members are invited to bring a dish and come enjoy the good food and great conversation.  A special feature of the monthly gathering is to recognize those church members whose birthdays occur that month.
